Sandra Pearce (www.sandrapearce.com) won her first art competition as a child, while traveling across the Atlantic on the Queen Mary, as her family emigrated from England. She now lives and paints in the Oregon Coast Range, where she enjoys peace and tranquility with her animals in their woodland home and garden. There, she says, “the simple life nurtures my creative spirit, and I’m able to delve into painting any or all of the time.” Sandra has received a long list of awards and recognition, including two recent plein air awards (Viewers’ Choice, FRAA Coastal Plein Air, Florence, OR 2023 and Top 100 Finalist, Plein Air Salon, January 2023).
