Juror’s Workshop

The supply list for the Ron Stocke workshop is a PDF document, which can be downloaded and printed. The document is available here .

TetraPak Printmaking with Rebecca Sentgeorge

  • TetraPak cartons (instructor will supply some, but if you have one, wash it out and bring it.)
  • X-acto knife
  • Pen
  • 2 pairs of disposable gloves
  • Paper towels
  • Any old paper booklet like a voters’ pamphlet, phonebook, newspaper (not slick paper)
  • 5-6 Q-tips
  • Apron (recommended)
  • Transfer paper (optional)
  • Tracing paper (optional)
  • Old toothbrush (optional)
  • Brayer ( (optional))
  • If you would like to try watercolor printmaking and already own some water-soluble crayons or woodies bring them. If not, instructor will have some soy-based printmaking ink.
  • Instructor will supply a simple drawing, but if you would like to bring a drawing it should be no wider than 3 inches.

Creative Crayons with Tara Choate

  • Multiple small pieces of watercolor paper. A pack of watercolor cards works well.
  • Crayons will be provided, but you are welcome to bring your own.

Texture and Dimension with Modeling Paste with Debbie Lindow

  • Paints
  • 1-2 pieces of 8×10 paper
  • Helpful: Hair dryers
  • Optional: Stencils, modeling paste. A small amount of modeling paste will be provided, TCW Fluffy and Light (found on Amazon) and a selection of stencils

Painting Water with Water on Yupo with Judy Nigh

  • 2 sheets YupoTM paper, 11 x 14
  • Gator board (support for painting) and tape
  • Medium size palette knife or color shaper
  • Paint brushes – 1” or 2” flat & #10 or #12 round
  • 2 spray bottles – 1 with water, 1 with rubbing alcohol
  • Water container
  • Paper towels
  • Old towel to catch any spills.
  • Minimum of three (3) tubes of paint similar to:
    • Payne’s gray or indigo
    • Burnt sienna or burnt orange
    • Turquoise or teal

Keep it Juicy with Ann Moore

  • Traditional gouache (not acrylic) in at least the three primary colors. Bring additional colors if you have them.
  • 1-2 pieces of watercolor paper.
  • Pencil.
  • Brushes.
  • Container for water.
  • Other “normal” painting supplies.

Don’t Toss It with Liz Walker

  • Several old quarter- or half-sheet paintings.
  • Tracing paper.
  • Basic painting supplies.
