Registration is open for Judy Morris’s workshop organized in partnership between Menucha and the Watercolor Society of Oregon

Workshop title is “WATERCOLOR • getting started • having FUN • achieving satisfaction”

Here’s what it’s all about: Painting should be fun.  But sometimes we get stuck and the “fun” is interrupted by an unexpected problem.  “Fun” becomes frustrating.  And frustration leads to unfinished paintings that might possibly end up hidden under the bed or at the bottom of a drawer.  Let Judy show you how to create paintings that don’t end up hidden… but are proudly displayed for everyone’s enjoyment.

Judy’s three-part painting process, along with her inspiration, creativity, passion, and knowledge of painting techniques that make you smile during the painting process, will help you create successful paintings and rescue paintings you thought were hopeless.

Judy’s 50+ year career as a professional art teacher has given her literally thousands of opportunities to share her love of watercolor.  If she were to simplify her painting plan into one simple sentence it would be… “Bring your toys (watercolor painting supplies) and come play (paint) with me.”

Cost to attend ranges depending on the kind of lodging chosen: $489-$640

ABOUT JUDY MORRIS: Morris became obsessed with watercolor painting when she was finishing her Master’s Degree at Southern Oregon University in 1976.  Watercolor caught her attention and changed her life. She no longer looks at the world without seeing common things in a special way.  She enjoys simplifying shapes and then filling those shapes with interesting textures and patterns that entertain the viewers eye.  Judy has been a professional art educator for over 50 years.  She loves sharing her joy of watercolor with other interested artists throughout the United States, Canada, Europe, China, Japan… and even in Cuba and Dubai.  Judy is an elected member of the American Watercolor Society, the National Watercolor Society, and the Transparent Watercolor Society of America.  For more information contact Judy at:
