Paper Dolls by Jill Cardinal

Start 2017 with a Creative Boost! You still have 2 more days to register for this mixed media class from Jill Cardinal. “Create a Power Paper Doll”.

This class is for artists of all abilities and that includes those of you that think you don’t have any abilities.

As we hurtle forward into the unexplored possibilities of 2017, perhaps it would be helpful to manifest an articulated paper friend to help focus your intentions on envisioning a future that lives up to your true potential. In this class, you will use paint, gesso, rubber stamps and transfers to create a magical paper power figure to embody your most fabulous, positive qualities. You can incorporate a matchbook reliquary in the construction of your doll to house tiny but significant power objects and a little book to record your hopes and dreams, and perhaps, an encouraging quote or mantra. This is a fun way to tap into what your subconscious has to say while you learn mixed media skills (or exercise the collage abilities that you already hace in a fun, safe and encouraging atmosphere.
